Seven highfield, high resolution NMR spectrometers are supported by the Center and available for use at the present time.

  • A state-of-the-art ultra-highfield 800 MHz Varian Inova NMR spectrometer fully configured with four channels and a 1H, 13C, 15N triple probe with three axis gradients. A triple resonance cold-probe was installated in June 2004.

  • A 600 MHz Varian Inova NMR spectrometer with four-channel capability and both cold and conventional 1H, 13C, 15N triple PFG probes as well as a proton dedicated probe.

  • A fully configured 500 MHz Varian Inova NMR spectrometer with full four-channel capability and PFG 1H, 13C, 15N triple, 5 mm PFG inverse, and 10 mm broadband probes.

  • A second 500 MHz spectrometer for routine chemical applications and heteronuclear spectroscopy.

  • A 400 MHz Varian Inova NMR spectrometer with a 4-nucleus PFG probe and a PFG inverse probe.

  • A routine walk up 300 MHz Varian Mercury spectrometer with a 4-nucleus probe.

  • A routine analytical 300 MHz General Electric QE NMR spectrometer for 1H, 13C NMR.
